General Information:

Just for Health School of Reflexology & Healing Arts (SRHA) offers the student superb certification trainings in the areas of Reflexology and Botanical Medicine. These programs are geared to students who wish to practice on a professional level and who are serious about their work. They are comprehensive and thorough and designed to prepare one for a responsible and respected practice within the community.

Class sizes are limited (10 or less) with much personal attention given. The atmosphere is informal and supports, encourages and challenges each student to reach his highest potential. We believe in providing a good scientific background for the trainings but at the same time honor the intuitive part that puts these modalities into the category of a healing “art” and well as a science.

Rachel Lord, RN, CMT, MH, CR. Owner and director of Just for Health School of Reflexology & Healing Arts. Instructor of programs.

CLASSES OFFERED

PROFESSIONAL FOOT AND HAND REFLEXOLOGY

REFLEXOLOGY is a type of hands-on work that maps out reflexes to the whole body on the feet and hands. By pressing specific areas on the feet/hands each organ, gland and body part is affected.

Who is this for? It is a “natural” for massage therapists, cosmetologists, manicurists, health professionals and anyone else wishing to practice an effective and well respected holistic modality. The technique can stand alone, but easily integrates into other therapy sessions. This program is for serious students of Reflexology.

What do I get when done? Upon successful completion of the program you will be prepared to practice Reflexology on a professional level. You will become a “Certified Professional Reflexologist” and ALSO be well prepared to sit for the national exam given by the American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB). This organization sets the national educational standards in the field.

BOTANICAL MEDICINE: EAST and WEST

THE PRACTICE OF HERBAL MEDICINE is a wonderful way to combine ancient knowledge with modern scientific validation of our botanical bounty. We are excited to offer a comprehensive cross-cultural program in herbal medicine. Combining Eastern and Western herbs is a trend of the future. There is much to be learned from both these cultures and for the westerner, Chinese herbs cannot be utilized to their full advantage without an understanding of the principles of Chinese medicine.

Who is this for? The program is designed for anyone interested in entering the growing field of botanical medicine and who is serious about becoming a professional herbalist.

What do I get when done? Upon successful completion of the program you will become a "Certified Master Herbalist". You will have a good understanding of herbal medicine from the western and eastern traditions and will be able to function as a clinical practitioner of herbal medicine on a professional level or to enter the herbal industry in other areas.
